All of Ko’s Black Belt Academy full-time instructors have many years of experience teaching children and adults. Although we honor Tae Kwon Do traditions that go back centuries, we are dynamic and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enthuse and excite our students.

Master Steve Oh

Master Steve Oh Steve is a 5th Degree Black Belt and started Tae Kwon Do in Seoul, South Korea at the age of six. He also has 3 years of experience in Hap Ki Do and has been teaching people of all ages for over 10 years. He strongly believes that Tae Kwon Do is beneficial for individuals and the community.

My goal is to share what I have learned from Tae Kwon Do with people of all ages to help them learn to succeed, maintain a healthy body, and learn to defend themselves. I strongly believe that the most important thing in life is health.

Master Bronson Ko

Bronson Ko Bronson is a 5th Degree Black Belt and started Tae Kwon Do under his father, Grandmaster Ko at the age of four. He has been teaching people of all ages for over nine years and has a real passion for helping people reach their maximum potential. Some of his strong interests are nutrition and discovering ways to maintain the body in optimal condition.

I believe that having overall balance is most important in everything you do; without it, it is impossible to smoothly progress forward.

Mr. Jack Hair

Jack Hair has over twenty years of experience in the study and teaching of Tae Kwon Do and was promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in 1999. He is recognized as one of the top instructors in the Kansas City area and was honored with the Instructor of the Year award in 1995. Mr. Hair believes that involving the entire family in martial arts training improves the overall benefit that individuals receive and that people of all ages can truly improve themselves.

I believe in doing all things at the very best of your ability each and every time. This develops an individual into understanding that this is what is important in all areas of life and brings out the winning attitudes that everyone looks for and desire’s to have.

Mr. Justin Ko

Justin Ko Justin is a 4th Degree Black Belt and started Tae Kwon Do under his father, Grandmaster Ko at the age of five. At age fourteen, Justin would go directly to the studio after school and help his father assisting children’s classes five days a week. He enjoys competing in Tae Kwon Do tournaments and has over five years of teaching experience.

As an instructor, my goal is to pass on everything that I have learned from Tae Kwon Do. It is the ultimate reward to help our students surpass the standards they have set for themselves.

Mr. Seth Wilson

Seth Wilson Seth is a Rec. 4th Degree Black Belt who began his martial arts training at 12 years old. He has over 10 years of teaching experience including his time as the Head Instructor at his former school before joining the Ko’s Black Belt Academy team. Seth studied nutrition and fitness in college and feels that the best way to learn martial arts is by giving everything you have to its ideas and principals.

In being an instructor I give everything I have to the students. I strive to pass along the martial arts education that was given to me and made such amazing changes in my life. By presenting the best to all students and focusing on creating leaders for the future we all win. I firmly believe that the only way one can fail, is if he chooses not to try.
