Mr. Doug McKinzie

Doug McKinzie Mr. McKinzie is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and came to us eight years ago slightly overweight and frustrated with the gym. Having no prior martial arts experience, he immediately fell in love with Tae Kwon Do and rarely missed a class. He is the owner of McKinzie Construction and a native of Kansas City.

Tae Kwon Do has given me a reason to keep in shape. I get to use my mind along with my body and that is what has given me motivation throughout the years.

 

Ms. Jacquelyne Cutler

Jackie Cutler Ms. Jacquelyne Cutler is a 3rd Degree Black Belt who started Tae Kwon Do at just eight years old. She assists the children’s classes and shares her enthusiasm for the martial arts with everyone.

One of the greatest experiences for me as an instructor is seeing students achieve and accomplish their goals. I am honored in being a part of that process.

 

Ms. Alexa Prim

Alexa Prim Ms. Alexa Prim is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and started Tae Kwon Do at the age of six. She assists the children’s classes and works very hard to help the students learn discipline and reach their goals.

Tae Kwon Do has always been a big part of my life. I am grateful for the opportunity of helping children reach their goals like I have.

 

Mr. Robert Dieterle

Bob Dieterle Mr. Robert Dieterle is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and has been in the martial arts since he was 12 yrs old. Holding a double degree in Mechanical Enginnering and Aeronautical Engineering, Robert brings great intelligence to classes. He also has training experience in Kung Fu and Jiu Jitzu.

 

Ms. Madeline Respeliers

Madeline Respeliers Ms. Madeline is a 2nd Degree Black Belt. Ms. Madeline very much enjoys teaching the children the new techniques and has been one of our longest tenured assistants at the Overland Park Academy.

 

Ms. Jessica Wong

Jessica Wong Ms. Jessica Wong is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and is also a member of our Ko’s Academy Competition Team. She attended her first USAT National Tournament in 2009 earning a Bronze Medal. Jessica enjoys working with the children and sets an excellent example by always working hard and being a major part of our school.

 

Ms. Morgan Carter

Morgan Carter Ms. Morgan Carter has been one of the most consistent students at Ko’s Black Belt Academy since she began over 4 years ago. She was voted as the students most favorite Assistant Instructor in 2008. She has worked with our Competition Team, Leadership Team and was recently our Ko’s Black Belt Academy College Scholarship Award Winner. Ms. Carter will be continuing on as an Assistant Instructor even though she is headed to college this fall at Kansas State University!

 

Ms. Sarah Hill

Sarah Hill Ms. Sarah Hill is a 1st Degree Black Belt who is also a competitive soccer player. She assists the children’s classes and shares her outstanding athletic ability with the students.

 

Mr. Dylan Rogers

Dylan Rogers Mr. Dylan Rogers is a 1st Degree Black Belt who has a very strong work ethic. He assists the children’s classes and shows great compassion for children.

 

Ms. Pamela

Pamela Weber Ms. Pamela is the head instructor and director of the Ko’s Tykes Program for 3-5 year old students. She is also the Program Director for the Leawood location.
